Job Description Job Description Job Title: Forklift Operator and Material Handler Job Description We are seeking a diligent and capable Forklift Operator and Material Handler to join our team. The role involves picking, packing, and shipping end products to customers, as well as replenishing inventory in production cells. You will utilize RF scanners, manage shipping documents, and assist in maintaining production materials.

The position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Pick, pack, and ship end products to customers. Utilize RF scanners to locate items in the stock room.

Accurately pick the quantity of products needed. Verify shipping documents and package shipments. Assist material handlers in replenishing production materials.

Replenish inventory in production cells using a kan-ban system. Respond to part shortage requests via alarm call or empty kan-ban box on the production line. Locate and accurately pick products needed for production.

Use a push cart to deliver products to production lines. Assist the shipping department with any duties as assigned. Lift up to 35 lbs.

Work hours are from 7am to 3:30pm. Essential Skills Experience in picking and packing inventory. Warehouse experience.

Computer competency. Ability to accurately count inventory. Strong computer skills.

Proficiency in English. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with shipping & receiving, shipping software, and international shipping. Forklift certification.

Knowledge of order processing, stockroom management, shipping, receiving, BOL, BOM, RF, and pallet jack operations. Steel-toed boots required. Ability to work at a brisk pace, standing and walking 100% of the time.

The shipping team is a tight-knit group, so flexibility and a cooperative personality are essential. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, Oregon. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 – $21.00/hr.
