Job Description Job Description Sutter Metals is a busy scrap metal recycler with locations in Tacoma, Lacey and Centralia, WA. We are currently seeking warehouse team members to assist in sorting, processing and packaging various metal products. POSITION DETAILS: Responsible for accurately grading metal materials – for determining placement in warehouse.
Training and continued education provided. Assisting on various specialized processing machines by accurately sorting materials and packaging “end-product”. Using forklift to move, unload, and situate storage bins/material.
Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals. Se habla Español! Interacting with customers (general public) in kind and courteous manner, as needed.
Maintain clear working spaces and warehouse routes. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED Experience with non-ferrous materials preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time (up to 8 hours per day) Basic computer skills preferred Experience with forklifts (or larger equipment) preferred Sutter Metals is an equal opportunity employer.
