Job Description Job Description Description: General Position Summary Process inbound and outbound inventory supplies under the direction of the Warehouse Manager. Focus on accuracy in the receipt of incoming supplies and preparation of outgoing deliveries. Operate equipment general warehouse equipment.
Keep track of inventory items and operational supplies. Contribute to a clean and safe work environment. Position Specific Competencies Warehouse-general operations Warehouse Safety-Be knowledgeable about and contribute to a safe warehouse work environment.
Shipping and receiving-inbound shipments of a variety of products from donors. Supply distribution-occasional travel to program sites to assist with supply distribution Training-actively participate in quarterly training and other trainings as required Pallet assembly-build safe pallets for customer deliveries Meet deadlines Ability to lift 50lbs plus Meet/follow all OSHA and Safety regulations Strong communication skills, verbal and written Strong work ethic Statistical Process Control OSHA and Safety Regulations Equipment Operation Safely and efficiently operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, reach trucks and pallet jacks. Able to follow established practices and procedures Certified or willing to become certified on warehouse equipment Operate a Forklift electric/propane Follow all safety regulations Inventory Tracking and Order pulling Accurately count and record inbound inventory Good counting and basic math skills High level of organization Order Pulling-accurately pull customer orders Repackaging of Inventory Repackaging of inventory-inbound products into customer-oriented packaging Quality Control (standards) Inventory Control – Cycle Counting Reconciliation of Inventory Loss Prevention Quality Control (standards) Valuation of Inventory (C O G) Receipt of Good capability Additional Skills needed: Attention to detail Read, write, speak, and understand English Work cooperatively with peers in faced paced, evolving environment Provide a clean working environment Work Conditions Work is primarily indoors in warehouse environment.
Extreme temperatures may exist. Hours Monday–Thurs, 10-hour shifts (1/2 hr. lunch).
Overtime may be required when needed (including weekend when applicable). Occasional travel may be required. Ability to lift 50lbs plus Education/Experience Requirements High School Diploma Or equivalent.
Some college preferred. 2 years’ experience in warehouse environment. Experience working in Indian Country. Valid driver’s license.
