Job Description: Under the general guidance of the Fulfillment Center (FC) leadership, this position coordinates a full range of FC tasks for all FC operation functions including: Receiving, Stocking, Picking, Packing, Equipment Reprocess, Tracking, Inventory and Shipping Orders. This position works with FC leaders to ensure team members are following the outlined training practices, FC safety guidelines, best demonstrated practices, and performing their job functions. Schedule : Full-time Hours : 40 hours Weekends and holidays – Receives designated products while utilizing the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and process. – Leads team who maintains inventory integrity, handles and stocks product as directed to the appropriate assigned locations.
Picks orders within warehouse operations. – Leads team who prepares orders for shipment, including labeling, preparing paperwork, generating bill of lading, and loading trailers. Takes steps to develop and maintain knowledge, skills, and expertise necessary to achieve positive results. – Communicates with all members of the team or peers to achieve team goals and FC objectives. – Maintains a safe and clean work environment, maintains equipment, participates on various teams such as Lean Six Sigma projects, green projects, and does so following all Corporate and Supply Chain Organization policies, processes, and outlined procedures as they pertain to warehouse operations. – Utilizes safe practices by; respecting safety equipment, safety equipment, safe handling, lifting, indicated material handling per MSDS, Hazmat, OSHA, and all applicable Intermountain safety requirements. – May assume leadership responsibilities when manager is not present. – Complies with all written procedures, verbal direction, and training as it relates to the receiving process and safe material handling requirements. – Ensures proper shift start-up (opening) and/or shutdown processes for FC employees, facility, lighting, equipment, and systems. Proactively communicates issues or observations to appropriate parties to ensure timely resolutions and uninterrupted operations. – Will be required to act as the production supervisor for some or all of a shift when their immediate supervisor or manager is not on the production floor.
Some individuals in this role may be required to support the following: – Coordinates inventory management activity to ensure the needs of the facility or assigned clinical program are being met. – Orders and delivers supplies for assigned department or clinical program using standard operating procedures, appropriate technology, and suppliers. – Communicates information concerning supply levels, new products, standardization, back orders, and product implementation to the relevant stakeholders or clinical program staff. – Reconciles and manages inventory reports (e.g., negative on-hand, exception, unconfirmed, put away reports). Assists with inventory management initiatives and strategies to ensure that processes are lean and effective. – Coordinates with the Business Applications Team to research and resolve SCIS related questions or problems. Utilizes appropriate reports and system tools to ensure effectiveness in support of key performance indicators. – Adheres to established cycle count and inventory relief (SOP’s). 7.Uses a variety of equipment which includes but not limited to pallet jack, walkie rider, and/or a reach truck as appropriate or as directed. – Maintains certification to operate all required types of forklifts and material moving devices including the pallet jack, reach truck, and order pickers which are used to safely lift the person to the height of the raised shelving unit.
Operates all required equipment in a safe and efficient manner while following all approved process and safe material handling requirements. Minimum Qualifications – Within the first 90 days in this role, demonstrate a working knowledge of all competencies outlined in the progression requirements for Supply Chain Operations Coordinator II – Experience leading a team or coaching others – Two years of warehouse of fulfillment center experience ? Preferred Qualifications – Experience in a role requiring demonstrated ability to learn systems and equipment. – Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet and e-mail, and scheduling applications. – Experience in a role requiring effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to teach and train others – Two years of experience working within Intermountain Healthcare – Experience working in medical distribution. – Working knowledge of the Warehouse Management System (WMS). – Demonstrated ability to safely operate lifts, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment.
