Overview
Poly-America, L.P. is currently hiring Storeroom Clerks to join our team. Poly-America produces several lines of polyethylene products including high quality trash bags, construction films, and geomembrane liners.
Poly-America is also the most technologically advanced and largest recycler and compounder of polyethylene in the world. Storeroom Clerks at Poly-America are responsible for the issuing of parts, supplies, and other items to all departments within the company. This position will also be accountable for the maintenance of inventory levels and cycle counts within the tool crib.
Clerks receive inventory into the storeroom system and stock the parts or supplies onto the racks using sit-down propane forklifts. The role may involve additional responsibilities and opportunities as they become necessary and/or are assigned by management. Storeroom Clerks work a yearly set schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off with 12 hour shifts.
The days of the week worked will rotate from week to week. Candidates must be available to work each day of the week The ideal candidate will possess: Two or more years of experience in an internal customer service or storeroom related role. Experience using warehouse management systems to track, verify, and re-stock inventory.
The ability to work a night shift or a day shift as assigned by management. The aptitude and desire necessary to be a good student of Poly-America processes, equipment, and procedures. Successfully passing a drug screen is required for this position.
