Job Description Job Description Job Description: Stand-Up Reach Forklift Operator (Bilingual Spanish) Location: Compton, CA Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Mandatory overtime up to 10 hours per day) Position Type: Temp-to-Hire Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Bilingual (Spanish) Stand-Up Reach Forklift Operator to join our team in Compton, CA. This position requires strong experience with stand-up and sit-down forklifts and a willingness to perform other warehouse duties as needed to learn all functions. The role is temp-to-hire and offers opportunities for growth within the company.
Key Responsibilities: Operate stand-up reach and sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently. Perform other warehouse duties, such as picking, packing, shipping, and receiving, to learn all warehouse functions. Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of materials.
Maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies. Work mandatory overtime as required to meet business needs.
Requirements: Bilingual in Spanish (required). Proven experience operating stand-up reach and sit-down forklifts. Willingness to perform other warehouse duties as part of cross-training.
Steel-toe shoes (required). Ability to work overtime as needed, including up to 10-hour shifts. Must pass a background check.
Skills & Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
