If you’re excited to rise with our team, come and join our `ohana Primary duties are to case pick/hand stack individual cases ranging between 15 lbs to 40 lbs utilizing a single or double pallet truck. Position will also be operating electric powered industrial truck equipped with single forks to move pallets from the production floor or racks to load the trailers for shipment or stage materials for production.
Candidate will also receive and unload bulk ingredient trucks into designated silos or tanks to meet production requirements. They will be accountable to all for high quality service standards to both our internal and external customers through safe, damage free, efficient, and accurate storage and handling of raw, package, and Finished Goods materials. Job Requirements: Include the following.
Other duties may be assigned. Load Finished Good products accurately and securely onto trucks for outbound delivery by either hand-stacking the product, or by utilizing authorized Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) such as forklifts and/or pallet jacks. Verify material and quantity accuracy and inspect the quality of the goods being received for inbound delivery.
Notify member of the supervision team if there are any discrepancies. Move raw and packaging products to required locations (preserving FEFO standards) using PIT such as hand trucks, forklifts, or pallet jacks. Fill out all documentation for the shipment or receipt of materials and enter data into computer operating systems for traceability.
Notify member of the supervision team if there are any discrepancies. Run reports to continually track and verify inventory accuracy and material movements. Maintain cleanliness and Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards in all warehouse areas.
Promote safety in the workplace by understanding and following safety rules and procedures, performing inspections of equipment, and reporting all accidents in a timely manner. Qualifications: To perform this job effectively, one must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Previous experience with a stand-up forklift is required. Previous experience in a warehouse environment is not a requirement (but is preferred). Previous experience with SAP is not a requirement (but is preferred).
Language skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, job aids, and procedure manuals written in English. Mathematical skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Physical demands: Required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Requires use of small portable equipment, and manual tools. Duties may require occasional operation of a motor vehicle on behalf of the company.
Work environment: This position is scheduled on a shift basis. May also be scheduled to work all shifts. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and PIT.
