Overview

JOB SUMMARY In the position of receiving clerk, you will be responsible for managing incoming shipments and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of products received into the warehouse. You will collaborate closely with the warehouse and purchasing teams to maintain accurate records and ensure smooth flow of material. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Receives goods, verifies item order consistency, and inspects condition of goods.

Verify packing lists, invoices and purchase orders to ensure correctness of deliveries. Unload materials from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks or other equipment. Packs and unpacks items to be stocked on shelves in warehouse ensuring items are stored in an orderly and accessible manner.

Accurately enter received goods into Oracle ERP system. Verifies inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigates discrepancies and adjusts errors. Maintain cleanliness and organization in receiving area.

Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Experience: 1-2 years of experience in warehouse or receiving role preferred. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.

Must be able to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic math and computer skills.

Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods. Strong communication and organizational skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT On-site in warehouse setting with exposure to temperature changes, loud noises and moving equipment. Position requires the ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
