Full-time Description The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for maintaining records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment. Requirements Responsibilities: Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.

Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials. Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock. Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.

Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes. Confer or correspond with necessary individuals to rectify issues such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance specifications. Deliver or route materials to departments.

Contact carriers to arrange pickups or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials. Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent 3 – 5 years receiving experience Experience in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel Requirements: Highly motivated individual Ability to work autonomously with little supervision Competent math skills Strong communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Detail-oriented, consistent in performance and able to manage and keep track of multiple operational priorities to achieve and Improve on-time delivery.

Works well as a productive member of a team. Certified forklift driver, preferred. Physical Requirements: Periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks. Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at a time.
