The Parts and Material Coordinator is responsible for ordering parts, maintaining and organizing the parts cage, and assisting the automotive technicians in getting the proper parts to successfully repair the vehicle. Salary Overview: The pay rate for this role starts at $16 per hour based on experience. Parts and Material Coordinator Responsibilities include: Perform billing of parts and process any invoices in company software systems.

Receive and inspect parts for damage and accuracy. Process and file parts paperwork. Update the company software system to reflect the status of parts on order.

Coordinate between dispatch and coordinator to meet deadlines. Operate forklift. Order shop supplies as needed.

Ship parts and other required items through FedEx. Assist in other departments as needed. Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service’s DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision.

Parts and Material Coordinator Qualifications and Skills: A high school diploma/GED. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. 0 – 1 year of previous automotive parts experience (preferred). Automotive parts knowledge.

Basic PC skills with a general understanding of Microsoft Office.
