INVENTORY SPECIALTY Maintain accurate item codes, transfer products, and create new item cards for inventory in CERES. Correct inventory discrepancies and execute receipt and distribution transactions. Count physical products, compare to projected inventory in CERES, create monthly cycle counts, and log inventory counts and actions taken.
Provide support for inventory needs at all locations. Receive and receipt incoming loads from various donors. Transfer worked products to proper codes.
Maintain Nappie Project inventory, compare to projected inventory in CERES, and correct discrepancies. Inspect warehouse equipment and complete inspection logs for general wear and tear to ensure safety. Assist operations team members by moving and tracking products.
Assist drivers with invoicing large donations, determining product allocation, and inspecting as needed. Load agency orders requiring forklift operations. Maximize facility space by breaking down pallets, consolidating them, and scheduling pickup and loading.
Receive incoming loads, inspect products, record temperatures, classify, allocate, count, and input into CERES. Put away government, donated, and purchased products following FIFO/FEFO, minimizing pallet touches, and ensuring warehouse safety. Assist with event preparations, including charging equipment, staging items, palletizing supplies, inventory, and food safety monitoring.
Perform general housekeeping and complete Master Sanitation forms to ensure safety, food safety, FIFO, pest mitigation, and overall appearance. Understand operations and distribution, assist with order pulling, donations, SOP updates, coordinate volunteers, and cross-train for coverage at any location. GENERAL (5%) Maintain adherence to FBLC safety, OSHA, and food safety standards, prioritizing safety for oneself and others, including when operating company equipment or vehicles.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent required, as well as experience working in a warehouse. PRE-EMPLOYMENT SCREENING REQUIREMENTS: Successful completion of all pre-screening requirements.
Passing of the WorkSTEPS job-specific test. 21 years of age and possession of a valid U.S. Driver’s License with a good driving record, as confirmed through an MVR check. LANGUAGE SKILLS & ABILITY: Proficiency in English required.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and online technologies is essential with preferred experience with Inventory and Project Management systems, especially Microsoft Navision Ceres 2009. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no direct reports but may support the coordination of volunteers. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Primarily works in a warehouse setting with occasional outdoor exposure to various elements like cold, heat, and rain.

TRAVEL: Local travel between the 3 organizational sites is the primary expectation during business hours. Mileage reimbursement is provided for work-related travel.
