NOW HIRING MATERIAL HANDLERS FOR A MEDICAL DEVICE COMPANY Location – Rancho Bernardo, CA Shift – 1st Shift (8AM – 5PM) Pay Rate – $20 – 24/HR depending on experience Job Description – As a Material Handler, your primary responsibilities will include receiving packages from various carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and Amazon. You will break down and remove pallets, store materials, and unpack items. Your role will require you to manage inventory, appropriately label parts, and conduct cycle counts once or twice a week.
Communication will be conducted over email and outlook and you will use the ERP system, NetSuite. You will support the manufacturing team in a Kanban setting, picking materials from a given list, packaging, labeling, and delivering them to the manufacturing team. You will also be responsible for interdepartmental transfers.
Hard Skills – Shipping and receiving duties – Experience with ERP system, preferably NetSuite – Inventory management and cycle counts – Handling of dry ice and cold room operations Soft Skills – Effective communication skills – Ability to work in a team – Attention to detail Work Environment You will be working in an environment with some cold storage in minus 20 storage locations. There might also be some inventory audits that would require weekend work.
