Job Title: Material Handler/Forklift Job Category: Operations Department/Group: Production FLSA Status Non-Exempt Location: Conroe, Texas Reports To: Lead Production Operator Level/Salary Range: DOE Position Type: Full time Will Train Applicant(s): Training Provided Job Description Position Summary Responsible for maintaining a properly fed production line as well as offloading finished goods as they are produced. Role and Responsibilities Operate any of several forklift trucks or pallet jacks moving either raw materials or finished goods in a safe, efficient manner. Keep work areas clean and organized.
Maintain work records Qualifications and Education Requirements High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) preferred. Forklift/powered truck experience. Able to use computer systems, Windows operating systems experience preferred English language communication both spoken and written.
knowledge, skills, and abilities Able to lift/move up to 50lbs. Able to walk, stand, sit for extended periods. Able to able to handle extreme heat/cool weather operations.
Available for flexible working hours/overtime if needed. Able to work in a diverse, team-oriented environment yet still be able to think independently. Able to able to follow both written and spoken work instructions.
Strong work ethic and professional demeanor. Able to dress appropriately for the working conditions.
