Job Description Job Description Steel or Composite Toe Shoes Required 1st Shift Key Responsibilities: Pallet/Case Picking: Process customer orders, including scanning barcodes, picking, and labeling boxes. Pick and pack orders efficiently. Utilize RF technology for order processing.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with SOP and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Complete RF device training and verify shipment accuracy. Pallet Build: Palletize orders by scanning, retrieving, and placing completed orders on pallets.
Re-palletize products for shipment as needed. Perform dock manifest duties, including scanning pallets and operating shrink wrapper. Transport pallets using Manual Handling Equipment (MHE) when required.
Additional Duties: Adhere to all safety instructions and practices to prevent injuries and ensure a safe working environment. Perform additional tasks as assigned and maintain adherence to attendance policies. Stay current with C2C training modules.
Quality Assurance: Understand and support organizational quality goals. Safety and Security: Follow safety procedures and report any safety hazards or suspicious activities immediately. Contribute to maintaining warehouse security and safety.
Cross-Training: Gain knowledge of other warehouse positions and provide backup support during absences or vacations. Please note that part of the warehouse is in climate control environments for example walk in freezer. Job Requirements: High School diploma, GED, or 1 year of relevant experience.
Experience with Walkie Ryder (motorized Pallet Jack) preferred. Strong verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting distribution documents. Ability to operate MHE and use Voice/RF scanners. Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Capability to work with minimal supervision and perform in a metrics-driven environment. General distribution knowledge and the ability to handle physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs. Material Handler experience preferred.
Physical Demands: Regular exposure to walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, crouching, reaching, pushing/pulling, and lifting. Frequent use of hands for grasping, typing, and repetitive motions. Occasional climbing and exposure to moving mechanical equipment.
