Our focus is geared toward building utility systems within the commercial and industrial construction markets. Our primary focus includes but is not limited to, HVAC, mechanical, piping, distributed electrical systems, plumbing, process piping & fire protection contractors.

Your role as a Full-Time Material Handler will play a crucial role in a range of tasks to support the fabrication and welding processes. The Material Handler is responsible for efficiently and safely handling, moving, and storing materials within the warehouse or production facility. This position plays a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate flow of materials to support production, shipping, and receiving activities.
The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION: · Material Handling: Safely move and organize materials, products, and supplies using various methods, such as manual lifting, pallet jacks, and forklifts. · Inventory Management: Track and document material movements and update inventory systems to ensure accurate stock levels. · Receiving & Shipping: Assist with loading and unloading trucks, inspecting goods upon arrival for accuracy and damage, and preparing products for shipment. · Order Picking & Packing: Retrieve and prepare materials and products for production or shipping based on work orders and customer requirements. · Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, ensuring that aisles, shelves, and work areas are free of hazards. · Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, and ensure routine maintenance and inspections are completed. · Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. QUALIFICATIONS: Proven experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification is a plus). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs regularly).
Basic computer skills for inventory and order tracking systems. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High School degree/GED or equivalent. 3 years’ experience in delivery driving.
