Job Description Job Description Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill a Direct Hire LME position with a unionized company located in Portland, OR. The person in this position will be in charge of troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, adjusting and installing as well as comfortable with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. You will need to have a solid background in electrical work Friendly reminder : This is a Graveyard shift position.

Responsibilities: Able to replace, repair, and adjust to manufacturer specifications: Bearings, seals v-belts, chains Air valves, hydraulic valves Pumps, couplings Process rolls (Corrugating, pressure, glue, etc.) All machinery parts Troubleshoot and repair mobile equipment Perform all jobs safely and properly. Carry out preventive maintenance tasks.
Operate and maintain a high pressure boiler, 200 PSI, and 150 HP. Maintain and repair mechanical fixed equipment as well as mobile equipment (forklifts). Fabricate, repair, and install equipment.
Maintain and repair building. Communicate with supervisor and production team on maintenance issues. Be able and willing to accept responsibility for maintaining the plant on a shift working independently, and without other help.
Able to manage paper work for work orders, PM’s, and stores inventories as required. Other duties as specified by supervisor. Qualifications : Welding Arc (Mig & Stick) Gas Cutting Preventive maintenance Oil Viscosity’s Difference and usage of greases Application and proper amount of lubricant Inspection for worn, broken, out-of-line and missing parts Read and understand machine manuals, and troubleshooting manuals Parts identification Operating shop machines/tools Grinders Drill Press Precision tools: micrometers, calipers, feeler gauges, dial indicators, etc Current LME or Electricians License / Oregon Schedule : Monday- Friday 11:00pm-7:00am Pay : $70,000 to $85,000/year DOE (shift differential will also apply) Benefits : 401(k) Medical Dental Vision PTO Company Description Over the decades, we’ve built up an extensive network of successful and well-paying industrial companies that are always looking for talented team members.
