Overview
Job Summary This Facilities Operations Specialist position supports our client in Houston by ensuring the smooth operation of event and meeting rooms, shipping and receiving processes, and completing routine work orders. Primary Responsibilities: Space Preparation and Management : Set up tables, chairs, and other furniture per customer specifications (50% of time) Forklift Usage and Safety : Operate a forklift for shipping and receiving (30% of time) Work Order Fulfillment : Complete routine work orders, including secure tote pickup and delivery, keyboard tray installs, and assisting with personnel moves (20% of time) Requirements and Qualifications Education and Background : High school graduate or equivalent, Forklift experience Safety Awareness : Basic safety procedures and PPE usage Physical Requirements : Ability to perform physical job duties that require standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting upper body, working in cramped positions, climbing hand over hand, lifting 50 lbs., and working on ladders/lifts Collaboration and Communication : Teamwork and communication skills About SGAs Mission At SGA, we strive to be a trusted partner in delivering high-quality services and fostering a diverse team built on core values of customer service, employee development, and teamwork.
