Job Type: Full-Time Location: Auburn Hills, MI Schedule: 6am – 2:30pm (M-F) Description: The Inventory Coordinator will be required to unload FCA parts from trucks, drive a forklift (can train on site), maintain an inventory tracker, stock warehouse shelves, pull parts orders, dispose of takeoff parts, pallets and cardboard, and parts delivery to technicians.
The position requires supporting and partnering with peers to drive high performance resulting in quality and delivery of timing expectations. Interface with parts ordering team to ensure adequate materials are on hand to complete daily production Ensuring proper inventory flow of parts supporting mechanical retrofit programs as well outbound control of scrap or returnable auto parts Ensuring proper safety guidelines are adhered to in shipping and receiving area Communication with shipping vendors and appropriate placement of inbound parts Periodically performing inventory audits to ensure parts on site match what is indicated electronically Perform timely and appropriate activities to support all financial/accounting procedures Qualifications: Associate�s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required Experience with inventory in an automotive related capacity Requires the Following Skills: Excellent communication, both oral and written. Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone, email and written means Must be able to communicate clearly with technicians and the FCA client about parts inventory issues Excellent customer service skills Must be able to multi-task while ensuring follow up and follow through on required tasks High degree of organization and ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment Intermediate with computer applications (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.) Other Requirements: Lifting requirements: 5 � 40 lbs.
