Job Description Job Description PLEASE APPLY IN-PERSON FOR GREATER CAREER OPPORTUNITIES JOB INFORMATION Full-time (1st shift) $11.50 – (2nd shift) $12.00 per hour Schedule Weekdays & weekends vary REQUIREMENTS At least 6 months – 1 year experience Clearance of drug screen Clearance of background check Must satisfy I-9 requirements Food Handlers’ Certificate (30 day work trial) Must have open availability Job Description: The Forklift Driver work requires operation of Company industrial trucks to load and unload product and deliveries, move them to and from storage areas, machines, loading docks and into trucks or storage areas. If required, Warehouse work requires walking and standing during the entire shift, lifting/carrying material from 10 lbs. up to 80 lbs. (with assistance).

Receiving, sorting, storing, taking inventory of product (fruits, vegetables and other as applicable), keeping records, organize for shipping, utilizing manual or electric pallet jacks and pallets, receiving and completing shipments by processing and loading orders. Candidates must be able to familiarize and identify the product name (English) and codes (training provided). Roles and Responsibilities (but not limited too): Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order(s) and transports product or material to and from designated areas in the Company facility.

Regularly sitting on a powered industrial truck. Clean driving record and a valid Driver License may be required Loading and unloading product packed on pallets or in crates around the Company storage facility. Ability to work in cold temperatures, as warehouse keeps cold.

Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions. Off loading and loading shipments from or on delivery trucks. Checking loads are secure.

Stacking empty pallets. Receiving goods and verifying delivery documents. Performing daily equipment checks, such as recharging truck’s battery and lubricating equipment.

Prepare goods to be shipped out along with appropriate paperwork. Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines. Receive work orders and locate items in the storage areas.

Examining product(s) to verify conformance to quality standards. Prepare orders, pull merchandise, sort out goods, and place in delivery pallets. Dumping materials if required.

Manually carry / lift merchandise. Box, pack or wrap picked items according to specific instructions / procedures. Forklift Certification per OSHA standards.

Receive goods and store in correct storage areas. High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote safe environment. Take inventory, count and record numbers of items received and sent out.

Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records. Label merchandise / product in accordance to labeling guides provided by the company. Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.

Walking and standing for part of the shift or the entire shift. Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
