Overview
Job Description Job Description Key Responsibilities: Unload and inspect incoming shipments of fasteners. Verify the quantity and quality of items received against purchase orders. Organize and store fasteners in the appropriate locations within the warehouse.
Ensure that storage areas are clean and well-maintained. Accurately pick and prepare fasteners for customer orders based on pick tickets or sales orders. Ensure that orders are complete and correct.
Pack orders securely and prepare them for shipment. Label packages correctly and arrange for shipping with the appropriate carriers. Assist with regular inventory counts and audits.
Report any discrepancies or issues to the Warehouse Manager. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines. Report any safety hazards or maintenance needs to the Warehouse Manager.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently. Ensure equipment is properly maintained. Requirements: Experience operating the cherry picker, sit-down, reach truck and stand up forklift.
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center Basic computer skills for inventory and order management systems. Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work under pressure. Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Lift up to 50 lbs. Must not be afraid of heights.
