Full-time Description Forklift Operator – Warehouse Team Member RealCold is a cold chain and cold storage solutions provider in North America. We provide seamless, logistically efficient, e-commerce solutions based on our diverse industry experience. We are looking forward to working with you and having you become a part of our team RealCold is currently looking for new team members to join their Warehouse operations in Denton, Texas. Currently, this location is on a first shift schedule. Currently scheduled days are Sunday – Thursday beginning at 6:50am – 3:30pm.
There is overtime as needed on Sunday or Friday; please be prepared to help when business needs arise. As a Forklift Operator, you will be working to complete the following daily for our customers in the following capacity: · Clean as you go to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. · Move products & packages throughout the warehouse utilizing appropriate equipment. · Conducting equipment checks prior to the start of each shift. Notify maintenance as appropriate. · Load & Unload materials & merchandise from trucks & place them in the appropriate location within the warehouse for storage. · Throughout the day notify management of damages, shortages & quality deficiencies. · Inspecting machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
There are a few things to consider when you apply for our roles with RealCold. We are essentially a cold storage facility, and our environment can be anywhere from negative 10 to 50 degrees. Your management team will provide the appropriate guidelines of what to wear to work once you join our RealCold team or provide the appropriate hand gear to ensure safety.
For safety reasons, everyone should be a minimum of 18 to work in our facilities. For this role, experience driving equipment such as: double pallet jack, stand up forklift or a high reach lift is essential. All team members must have the ability to lift over 40lbs.
At RealCold we work together, so it’s important to communicate with the members of your team and the leaders in the building. Attention to detail and following directions is key to being successful in this role. The starting hourly rate of pay for this position is $17 per hour.
RealCold believes that our team members should share in the profitability of the locations they support and quarterly has a profit plan based on the success of each location. Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Critical Care, PTO and more are offered after 30 days of hire. Salary Description $17
