Job Description Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Forklift Driver to join our team and play a key role in moving materials and goods within our facilities. This position requires an individual who is responsible, has experience operating forklifts, and ensures the safe and efficient handling of products. Key Responsibilities: Operate Forklifts: Safely operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse or production area.
Load and Unload Goods: Efficiently load and unload products from trucks and other vehicles, ensuring items are handled carefully to prevent damage. Store Materials: Stack and store goods in designated areas securely and in an organized manner. Inspect Equipment: Regularly inspect forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
Report any damage or malfunctions to the supervisor. Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the work area clean and free from obstructions, ensuring a safe working environment. Follow Safety Procedures: Adhere to safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Assist with Inventory Management: Help with counting and recording inventory stock levels. Requirements: Minimum Experience: At least 6 months of experience in forklift operation or a similar role. Certification: No formal forklift operator license is required. 6 months of experience is sufficient.
Physical Ability: Must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Salary: $17.00 per hour.
Availability: Must be available to start ASAP.
