Job Title: Material Handler Job Description We are seeking a Material Handler who will provide accurate inventory information for company-controlled material stock. The role involves monitoring, organizing, and maintaining inventory across multiple branch locations, while collaborating with a diverse team. Responsibilities – Operate sit-down forklifts, order pickers, and side-loader forklifts. – Conduct inventory control and cycle counting duties. – Enter inventory data into a computer and record manually using a clipboard. – Load and unload metal materials (raw materials) both manually and with a forklift. – Complete material receiving activities for shipments between locations or direct from the mill. – Coordinate movement of material from stock to processing to support production requirements. – Operate material handling equipment to support material movement. – Perform accurate and timely data entry within the inventory management system regarding material movements. – Prepare and maintain appropriate inventory identification tags. – Complete material consolidation tasks, including supermarket. – Identify material shortages and issues, and communicate to appropriate staff. – Perform verification of scrap. – Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all work. – Assist quality assurance team in activities related to credits. – Perform equipment preventative maintenance and clean up.
Essential Skills – Ability and experience operating a sit-down forklift. – Strong attendance and work history with regards to tenure. Additional Skills & Qualifications – Warehouse experience. – Proficiency in inventory control and data entry. – Experience with order picking and general labor tasks. Why Work Here?

The role involves working various shifts, including 1st shift from 4am-2:30pm Monday-Thursday, and other shifts as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, Washington. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.20 – $21.20/hr.
