Job Overview: As a Forklift Operator, you will ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials within our facility. Responsibilities: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to load and unload materials, products, and equipment. Move items to and from storage areas, production lines, and loading docks.
Perform pre-start checks of forklifts and report any defects or maintenance requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all materials are properly stored. Follow established procedures for documenting and handling inventory.
Stack and arrange products and materials according to company standards. Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure the accurate and timely completion of orders. Other duties as assigned.
You’ll Be A Great Fit If You Have: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or logistics environment. Valid forklift operator’s license/certification.
Ability to operate various types of forklifts, including reach trucks, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks. Knowledge of proper forklift handling techniques, including load capacity calculation and stability principles. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
