Join us POSITION SUMMARY The Finishing Lead is responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and load integrity of finished goods in the preparation of customer shipments. Facilitates the flow of inventory through consolidation, palletizing, and optimizing footprints for maximum utilization.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS The specific minimum competencies needed to perform the essential duties of the job include knowledge, skills, abilities, level of education, and experience necessary for successful performance. These competencies are generally demonstrated through specific service, education, or training. Knowledge: Regularly communicate with the Department Manager to review workload, allocation of Team Members, goals and objectives for each shift, and Team Member performance.
Strong collaborator with experience communicating with leadership, action oriented . Strong attention to detail and process adherence. Standup forklift experience required, preferably Linde equipment.
WMS and scan gun experience. Possess a strong ability to effectively coach and lead . Able to communicate clearly and effectively not only with employees within their department to ensure they remain on task, but also with other departments to help correct process breakdown and ensure quality.
Skills & Abilities: Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels. Hands on leader, typically not on forklifts daily, working from the warehouse floor using a mobile workstation. Level of Experience: 2 yrs.
of experience operating stand-up forklifts, preferably Linde. 2 yrs. of experience with business related activities within a distribution center, including shipping, customer service, logistics. Level of Education: Associates degree preferred High School or equivalent required.
Travel: 0-10%, as business requires.
