POSITION TYPE: Full-Time Non-Exempt (Hourly) RATE: $20.00 – $25.00/hour JOB SUMMARY The Box Truck Driver is responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting company goods, supplies, material, and equipment safely and efficiently to and from multiple plants, vendors, and customers in the local area. The Box Truck Driver is also responsible for palletizing shipments and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse using different material handling equipment to move and transport items as necessary. REPORTS TO The Box Truck Driver directly reports to the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION Education, Training, and/or Experience U.S.

Citizen or Permanent Resident High School Diploma or equivalent Valid WA State Driver’s License Clean driving record Minimum of 1 year of experience driving commercial trucks Forklift operation (certification preferred) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk Frequently required to climb ladders/stairs, twist, stoop, bend, squat, kneel and reach Regularly required to lift and carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds without restriction; 50 pounds with assistance Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus Hearing level within normal/average range ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Ability to operate Class 4-6 (14,001-26,000 GVW) cab-over truck (manual transmission; air over hydraulic brakes) Ability to work both independently and as part of team Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, quality, and safety Ability to operate machinery including, but not limited to: forklifts, pallet bander, drill and pallet jack Excellent organizational and time management skills Basic computer application skills ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Operate company vehicle in adherence to Company Vehicle Agreement Chart the most efficient route to make the best use of travel time Transport materials, tooling, and in-process manufactured parts to designated locations and personnel Properly tie down and secure all delivery loads; inspect vehicle prior to each assignment to ensure safety Load and unload materials on and off pallets Use hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment as needed Deliver products in a safe and secure manner to prevent damage, spoilage, or loss Ensure vehicle is fueled properly Obey all traffic laws, ordinances, regulations, and transportation procedures Keep vehicle clean and maintained, in proper working condition (oil, water, lights, tires, brakes…etc.) Report mechanical issues and safety concerns to Supervisor immediately Perform transactions in ERP system and company SharePoint site Other duties as assigned Management reserves the right to assign and/or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
