Job Description Job Description Maleko personnel is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Aviation Repair Receiving Inspector , to join our client’s team. (Temp to hire) In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and verifying incoming aviation parts and materials, ensuring they meet required quality standards and specifications for repair station activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in commercial aircraft and engine heavy maintenance, with a strong understanding of component repair and overhaul processes. Previous quality control experience is accepted and beneficial.
Responsibilities: Inspect incoming aviation parts and components for repair and overhaul, ensuring they meet all required specifications and regulatory standards. Review and verify documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations. Conduct detailed inspections for defects, discrepancies, or damage on parts and materials.
Work closely with the repair and maintenance teams to resolve issues related to incoming parts or materials. Maintain accurate records and inspection reports, ensuring that all information is properly documented. Ensure compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) during the receiving inspection process.
Collaborate with quality assurance and inspection teams to verify that all procedures are being followed correctly. Use computer systems and software to track parts, materials, and inspections. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial aircraft and engine heavy maintenance (preferred).
Knowledge and experience in the repair and overhaul of components/parts for commercial aircraft. Minimum of 3 months of experience in a quality assurance or inspections organization for inspecting components for repair stations. Licensed Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate under FAR part 65 is a plus.
Previous quality control experience is accepted and preferred. Strong computer skills required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and other industry safety standards.
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with other departments. Ability to lift and carry items of varying weights, as needed.
