Overview
We are seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse and logistics processes. As a commercial low voltage contractor specializing in structured cabling, fire alarm, and security integration, we rely on our warehouse team to keep projects running smoothly. This role involves overseeing shipping and receiving, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring materials and equipment are properly prepared for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities: Logistics & Inventory Management Oversee receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming shipments. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure efficient organization of warehouse materials. Prepare, package, and coordinate the shipment of materials and tools for job sites.
Warehouse & Equipment Operations Operate forklifts to load, unload, and organize inventory. Drive a truck and back up trailers to designated locations as needed. Ensure all warehouse equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.
Project & Team Support Provide materials and project support to field teams to ensure job site readiness. Collaborate with project managers and technicians to fulfill material requests accurately. Assist with fleet and facility management tasks as needed.
Safety & Compliance Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. Ensure compliance with company safety standards and OSHA regulations. Follow proper handling procedures for tools, materials, and hazardous items.
Qualifications: Required: Valid drivers license with the ability to confidently drive a truck and back up a trailer. Forklift operation experience (certification preferred). Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects as part of daily tasks. Preferred: 1-3 years of experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory management. Familiarity with low voltage, electrical, fire alarm, life safety, or structured cabling industries, or commercial construction.
Experience working with fleet or facility management. OSHA 10 certification is a plus. Compensation & Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation package with comprehensive benefits designed to support our team members.
